Fooooooooood

After feeling completely ashamed of myself yesterday for going through so much trouble just to
avoid some exersize, I got up off my lazy bum and started the c25k (couch to
5K). I’ve done it before and really enjoyed it but along the way I made one
excuse or another and quit.  So…I’m going to give it a shot once
more.
My husband went with me
to the store last night and helped me get a ton of ingredients to make all the
healthy pinterest recipes I found yesterday (also while procrastinating to avoid
working out) 😉   I pre made a few meals for the rest of this week to help from
over eating and snacking. ( I hoard snacks like a freaking
hamster!!)
I found a lot of recipes
that have the same basic ingredients (give or take a few things) to make things
a little easier.. does that make sense? anwho* I bought:
carrots
bell
peppers
zucchini
tomatoes
apples
bananas
olives
chickpeas
hummus
spinach
lettuce
grapes
greek
yogurt
cottage
cheese
lemons
almonds
and a lil garlic…
(for some flava flave)

I’ve also started
drinking a boat load of water.. haha a ‘boat load of water’ would not be a good
thing. 🙂 I drink water fairly regularly but a prefer juices or really anything
that doesn’t taste as boring as water.  I really needed more water in my diet so
water it is…. my eyeballs have begun to float.

Well…That’s about all
of it as far as the food changes have been. I don’t think it will be hard to
maintain.
I’m reaching for a small
goal of about 10lbs lost a month for the next 3 months. I’m not ‘too far gone’
to consider that a realistic goal for myself.  It also helps me to look at a
smaller goal of 10lbs than to picture the 30lbs overall that I need to
lose.
